Recertification - Blended Standard First Aid with CPR Level C/AED

This is a recertification course designed for students that have a current Standard First Aid with CPR Level C CPR certification from any Workplace Approved First Aid Provider.

Please remember to bring a copy of your CURRENT certification to your program.

  • The Red Cross
  • Preparing to Respond
  • The Emergency Medical Services System
  • Check, Call, Care
  • Airway Emergencies
  • Breathing and Circulation Emergencies
  • Respiratory and Cardiac Arrest (including CPR C)
  • Wound Care
  • Head and Spine Injuries
  • Bone, Muscle, and Joint Injuries
  • Sudden Medical Emergencies
  • Environmental Emergencies
  • Poisons
  • Additional content may be included based on the requirements of the jurisdiction.

Approx 4 hrs online/ 4 hours in class

hdgPrerequisites

The following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:

  • Current Standard First Aid with CPR Level C
  • CPR levels A or B will be accepted).
  • As per the Canadian Red Cross -Red Cross Standard First Aid Participant-level certificate holders with certifications that expire between March 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020, can attend a recertification course but they need to complete their recertification by January 31, 2021.

This one day course offers a review of the two day Standard First Aid with CPR Level C program. Knowledge and skills of this program will be reviewed and evaluated.

Upon successful completion of this program you will have earned the following tickets:

  • Certification is valid for 3 years.
