Course is conducted 50% on-line and 50% with an instructor while maintaining all safety requirements and social distancing requirements. Date selected is for the in-class portion and completion of the online must presented to the instructor.
Online portal access will be sent via email during AHASTI business hours.
A valid certification must be presented to the instructor on the day of the program. COVID extensions for Red Cross Standard First Aid certificate holders with certifications that expire between March 1, 2020, and March 1, 2021, can attend a recertification course until March 31, 2021. This extended window will allow those with expired certifications the opportunity to recertify.

Approx 4 hrs online/ 4 hours in class
The following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:
Course refreshes a variety of topics from basic (circulation and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth (sudden medical emergencies and injuries to the head and/or spine).
Upon successful completion of this program you will have earned the following tickets:
Completion Criteria:
Ability to comprehend and successfully demonstrate the skills and pass a knowledge evaluation with a minimum mark of 75%
Participants must attend and participate in 100% of the course
