Start the Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C/AED class in the comfort of your own home! Then within 90 days of completing Part One - call our office to register for the in-class component. The fees paid to AHASTI for part one will go towards the cost of your in-class registration.

  • Airway emergencies
  • Breathing and circulation emergencies for Adult, Child, Baby
  • First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Wound care

hdgPrerequisites

The following are the prerequisite that a student is required to have before being allowed into this course:

  • none
  • if completing a recertification, then a valid certification must be presented on the day of the in-class portion.
  • If you currently hold a certification that expires in Mar - June, the province has granted a 90 extension to get your recertification completed without attend the full course again.

This is the online portion of the blended Emergency First Aid with CPR Level C/AED certification only. For certification the in-class skills portion must be completed within 90 days of completing the online - call our office to register for the in-class component. The fees paid to AHASTI for part one will deducted from the cost of your in-class registration.

hdgCertifications Earned

Upon successful completion of this program you will have earned the following tickets:

  • The online completion is only valid for 90 days to qualify for the in-class component.
  • Full certification is not issued until both the online and the in-class component is completed. The certification will then be valid for 3 years.

hdgAdditional Information

An email will be issued from the Canadian Red Cross for each participant to complete. The online can be stopped and started as many times as you wish until completed. Once completed - you have 90 days to complete the in-class portion to qualify for a certification that is valid for 3 years.
