The Red Cross - Bloodborne Pathogens program was designed for individuals who may be exposed to blood and body fluids during the performance of their work and who wish to gain a more thorough understanding of bloodborne pathogens, the prevention of occupational exposure, and exposure follow-up. Who Should Take the Course? This course is designed for individuals who may be exposed to blood and body fluids during the performance of their work including, but not limited to healthcare professionals, emergency responders, public safety workers, laundry and housekeeping workers. To register, simply select the course date from the list, no matter what the date and follow the registration process. You will be issued your remote 'PIN' Access via email during the next business day.

hdgTransportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)

Take Transportation of Dangerous Goods training any weekday, at your leisure. No more waiting to find a scheduled course that fits your time requirements. This half-day course is intended for individuals who are involved in the transportation and handling of dangerous goods within industry operations. It is ideal for updating personnel with previous TDG training or as an introductory session for new employees. All you need to do is CALL IN to book a time (you need to allow two hours for each course to be completed between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM). hdgMedical Terminology

The purpose of this Red Cross Medical Terminology course is to provide an introduction to the professional language used by those who are directly and indirectly involved with the art of healing. The course will also introduce those not currently involved in the health care environment with an introduction to the language of medicine. In addition, the course will provide participants with the basics of human anatomy and physiology. Who Should Take the Course? Understanding medical terminology is vital when entering a number of medical professions, including medical billing, medical coding, medical administration, emergency responders, public safety professionals, and those who wish to gain a more thorough understanding of medical terms and/or enhance the knowledge base they already have. Fire Safety teaches participants about the legislated fire safety responsibilities of the employer and the worker, describes safe work practices related to fire prevention, and provides practical information about emergency response in situations involving fire. Lockout/Tagout explains the importance of lockout/tagout in protecting the health and safety of workers.

hdgWorkplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
