These BLENDED - Canadian Red Cross First Aid/CPR courses are a combination of Online learning and in-class skills. The online is theory based and information is conveyed to participants outside of the classroom through an online component, which allows for the in-class component to concentrate on skill development and application of theory.
CPR level C/AED - Approximately 3 hrs online learning, 3hrs hours teaching time with a Red Cross Instructor.
Emergency First Aid with CPR C/AED - Approximately 4 hrs online and then 4.5 hrs with a Red Cross Instructor.
Standard First Aid with CPR C - Approximately 8 hrs online and 7.5 hrs with a Red Cross Instructor.

CPR Level Definitions:
CPR Level A - Adult only skills for CPR and Choking Skills (available in recertification only or group bookings)
CPR Level C - Combination of Adult, Child and Baby skills for CPR and Choking Skills

This is a recertification course designed for students that have a current Standard First Aid with CPR Level C CPR certification from any Workplace Approved First Aid Provider. Please remember to bring a copy of your CURRENT certification to your program. Courses on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) provide the skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults, children, and babies. All include training in the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Courses offer training suitable for workplace or general interest. Includes the latest CPR guidelines. A valid certification must be presented to the instructor on the day of the program. COVID extensions - Red Cross CPR C level certificate holders with certifications that expire between March 1, 2020, and December 31, 2020, can attend a recertification course but they need to complete their recertification by January 31, 2021.
